The National Association of Nurses and Midwives (NANM), Bayelsa State Council, has honoured the Head of Service, Dr. Wisdom Ebiye Sawyer, mni, for his immense contributions to the welfare and development of nurses in the state.

The award was presented during the Annual Conference of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), held on 29th September 2025 at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

According to the organizers, the recognition was in appreciation of Dr. Sawyer’s consistent support for the nursing profession and his efforts in promoting improved healthcare delivery and professional development initiatives.
