The office of the Bayelsa State Head of Service has announced that a competency-based test will be conducted for eligible Directors on Grade Level 16 and 17 in the state’s mainstream civil service.

According to the Head of Service, Dr. Wisdom Ebiye Sawyer mni, the exercise is aimed at producing top-quality civil servants in line with the digitalization drive of the service.

Dr. Sawyer, emphasize that the computer-based test is scheduled for Friday, 21st November 2025, at the ICT Hall of the Bayelsa Medical University, from 9am to 2pm, adding that, successful candidates from the computer-based test will proceed to the written examination on Saturday, 22nd November 2025, at the Roof-Top Auditorium of the same institution, from 9am to 4pm.

The state Head of Service, advised Candidates to come with their writing materials, as the use of phones, books, and any form of sharp practice will not be allowed in the examination hall.
